The Yüksekova district in Hakkari, Türkiye, witnessed a partial freeze of the Dilimli Dam, following days of heavy snowfall and extremely cold weather. The severe cold that ensued brought daily life in the district to a standstill. The surface of the Dilimli Dam, situated on the Yüksekova-Esendere highway, exhibited a frozen spectacle, creating visually stunning scenes. Residents seized the opportunity to capture photographs of the frozen dam, which had been in operation for the past two years. İslam Geçirgen, who visited the area for photography, remarked on the extraordinary winter conditions in Yüksekova, emphasizing the beauty of the partially frozen Dilimli Dam.
