The amphibious command ship ‘USS Mount Whitney’ of the 6th Fleet of the US Navy, crossed the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul again after spending 10 days in Black Sea. The Coast Guard boat accompanied the 189-meter-long warship through the Bosphorus. During the passage of the ship, the American crew was seen photographing the view of Istanbul.
The Rainbow Hills in Oltu, Erzurum, are gaining popularity among nature and photography enthusiasts. Formed 45 million years ago, the hills reveal vibrant colors after rainfall and are being compared to similar formations in China.
Located in Tuzla, Yolboyu, Bahçecik, and Kaleboğazı neighborhoods, the hills are attracting more visitors each year. Local photographers use drones and cameras to capture the hills’ unique beauty, which officials hope to promote as a tourist destination.
