Treasure Hunter Died After Trapped Under Rubble in Thailand

In Prachup Kiri Khan, Thailand, a landslide struck an old gold mine as treasure hunters were digging for gold, trapping one person. Two were rescued by bystanders, but one remained trapped. After 5 hours, rescue teams recovered the lifeless body of the trapped hunter. The province’s deputy governor emphasized the miners’ responsibility for safety.
