Traffic levels surged to 60 percent, causing delays and frustrations for drivers. Authorities deployed traffic police to manage intersections and urged motorists to adhere to traffic regulations, including refraining from using emergency lanes. The congestion is anticipated to persist until midday, exacerbating travel challenges for commuters.
A full moon rising over Lake Van in the Ahlat district of Türkiye’s Bitlis province created a breathtaking spectacle as it reflected off the calm waters. Locals and visitors gathered along the lakeshore to witness and photograph the scene, with many describing it as an unforgettable moment.
Nature photographer Şahin Şerefoğlu, who captured the moonrise at Ahlat Pier, said, “We’re in one of the most beautiful places to watch the full moon. We invite all nature lovers to experience this view.”
