Ihlara Valley, the world’s second largest canyon valley, and the fascinating Melendiz Stream flowing through it, which were formed after the volcanic eruption, awaits all nature lovers at the foot of Hasan Mountain in Türkiye’s Aksaray province.
“This valley was formed after an eruption in the Mount Hasan. Since Mount Hasan is a volcanic mountain, hot water comes out of one part called Ziga and cold water comes out of another part. The two converge in the Ilısu village and forms the Melendiz Stream,” said guide Kerim Yasav.
