As the Russia-Ukraine War persists, Ukraine continues to attack the Russian Navy using unmanned marine vehicles. According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, at 19:30 UTC, Ukrainian unmanned marine vehicles were detected in the western Black Sea, heading towards the Crimean Peninsula. In response, helicopters from the Russian Black Sea fleet were deployed, successfully destroying 15 Ukrainian unmanned marine vehicles. The Russian Ministry of Defense also released footage of the destruction.

Lopez interrupted CEO Satya Nadella’s speech at a company conference in Seattle on May 19, accusing Microsoft of supporting Israeli war crimes. He was later dismissed via email, according to activist group “No Azure for Apartheid.”
The group also claimed Microsoft banned terms like “Palestine”, “Gaza”, and “genocide” from internal emails. Lopez had worked on Azure’s AI services team and previously warned colleagues about the technology’s alleged use in targeting civilians.
Microsoft has not publicly responded to the incident.
