Pro-Palestinans gathered at the Texas State Capitol in Austin in the USA to both protest Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and to mark Palestine Nakba Day, when Israelis were displaced from their settlements during the establishment of Israel in on 14 May, 1948.
More than 35,000 Palestinians and over 1,400 Israelis have been killed, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, since the war between Hamas and Israel began on October last year.
