In Sivas, Türkiye, antique enthusiast Süleyman Özpembe has been collecting antiques for nearly 30 years. Displaying over 1,200 items in his store, including radios, telephones, watches, lighters, and handwritten books up to 400 years old, Özpembe aims to attract antique lovers from surrounding areas. His passion began at age 10 with a gramophone inherited from his grandfather.
President of the Sivas Antique Dealers Association, Menderes Kartalmış, announced plans to make Sivas a popular destination for antique enthusiasts. The association, founded in 2023, organizes monthly markets attracting collectors from various regions. The goal is to unite local antique lovers and create a cultural space that draws visitors to Sivas.
