The “2024 Turkish-Hungarian Cultural Year” is underway in Hungary, featuring events in cities like Pécs and Budapest. Among these events, the Konya Turkish Sufi Music Ensemble performed a sema show, an integral part of Turkish history and Sufi culture, coordinated by the Turkish Embassy in Budapest. Despite a busy agenda due to European Parliament and local elections, Hungarian art lovers showed significant interest in the performance, which includes instruments like ney, kudüm, and ut, along with the whirling dervishes’ choreography.
