Orban Criticizes Germany’s Transformation

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban criticized Germany’s transformation over the past decade, describing it as no longer the country of hardworking and orderly people. Speaking to Hungarian state radio Kossuth, Orban remarked, “Germany is not the Germany of 10 years ago. It has neither its previous taste nor its previous smell. Germany is no longer the country that our parents and grandparents set an example for us.”

Orban expressed concerns about Germany becoming multicultural and increasingly owned by immigrants, urging Hungarians to reject immigration policies to preserve their nation. He also accused European liberals and leftists of planning to bring 1 million immigrants to Europe annually, leading to a demographic shift. Orban is set to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to discuss Hungary’s upcoming EU presidency, which begins on July 1.
