One person died and 8 people were injured when the roof of Terminal 1 at Indira Gandhi (Delhi) International Airport in New Delhi, the capital of India, collapsed due to heavy rain.
Indian Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu stated that the flights were stopped until 14:00 local time, the entire terminal was evacuated and an investigation was launched into the incident.
According to flight tracking platform Flightradar24 data, at least 10 flights were canceled and 40 flights were delayed.
