Forest Fire Erupts in Western Türkiye

A forest fire in Izmir’s Bornova district is being tackled by six aircraft, three helicopters, and multiple ground units. Efforts include 20 water tankers, six water supply units, and four bulldozers. Due to heavy smoke, the Sabuncubeli Tunnels, linking Izmir and Manisa, have been closed to traffic.
