Istanbul Bridges Display Giant Turkish Flags for July 15 Commemoration

On the 8th anniversary of the July 15, 2016 coup attempt, Istanbul’s bridges were decorated with giant Turkish flags. The event, organized by the Presidential Directorate of Communications, Istanbul Governorship, and the July 15 Association, included a ceremony at the July 15 Martyrs Bridge. The ceremony followed a march from the 15 July Memory Museum and featured officials and relatives of the martyrs. Other bridges, including the Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Yavuz Sultan Selim, Osman Gazi, and 1915 Çanakkale bridges, also displayed flags and commemorative posters.
