The first meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government Summit, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC, the capital of the USA, was held yesterday. Issues related to the coordination of military support to Ukraine, especially the Russia-Ukraine War, developments about Ukraine’s NATO membership defense expenditures, policy towards China, cooperation with partners in the Indo-Pacific region and the military deterrence of the alliance were discussed in the session.

After the meeting, the leaders and their spouses attended the dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden.
