Israel carried out a severe attack on Al Mevasi in the Gaza Strip. It was said that at least 50 people died as a result of the attack.
The area was declared a “safe zone” by Israel.
Russia and Ukraine carried out their first exchange of prisoners under 25 as part of a June 2 agreement in Istanbul. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said the swap also included wounded soldiers and would continue in stages. Russia confirmed its soldiers returned via Belarus and are receiving care. No official numbers were shared.
