israel demolish two palestinian houses in jerusalem

The house of a Palestinian family in Jerusalem was demolished by the invading Israeli forces on the grounds that it was built without permission. Israeli forces, who also raided the Shiyah area in the Al-Tur neighborhood in east Jerusalem, destroyed the foundation of a house that another family had begun to demolish a month ago. The family demolished their house in November to avoid fines of 400,000 shekels (approximately $12,850). However, Israeli forces also demolished the building’s foundations in order to force the family to pay the fine.
