A rocket attack hit a soccer field in Majdal Shams in the northern part of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. At least 12 Israelis, including children, were killed, and around 10 people were injured, many of them seriously.
Israel claims Hezbollah carried out the attack, but Hezbollah denies any involvement.
The Israeli army has launched an investigation into why its air defenses failed to intercept the rocket.
