Çakırgöl Lake, located at 2,553 meters in the mountains of Gümüşhane, northeastern Türkiye, offers breathtaking views shaped by glacial history.
Accessible only in summer and about 50 km from Gümüşhane city center, the lake remains surrounded by snow even in late June. With its clear waters, silence, and dramatic cliffs, Çakırgöl attracts nature lovers, campers, and photographers seeking a remote alpine escape.
