This year’s version of La Tomatina, the Spanish’s traditional tomato battle, started in a small village of Bunol in the Valencia city at around 13:00 local time. The colorful event, where tons of overripe tomatoes are used, has attracted thousands of people, including tourists.
A man unfurled a Palestinian flag to show support in the Gaza Strip during the event.
