A boat carrying 28 irregular migrants sank off the coast of Lampedusa Island in Italy. Twenty-one people, including 3 children, were reported missing, while 7 others were rescued.
Local media reported that the boat set off from Libya last Saturday and that the irregular migrants on the boat were Syrian nationals.
