A digital artwork by humanoid robot Sophia was sold at auction for $688,888 in the form of a Non-Fungible Token (NFT). Robot Sophia, who was created in 2016, produced her art with 31-year-old Italian digital artist Andrea Bonaceto.
The identity of the buyer was not known.
The International Space Station (ISS) photographed Istanbul at night in January 2025, highlighting the illuminated Bosphorus, the city’s new airport, and the Northern Marmara Highway. While the northern parts of the city remained dark, urban lights stood out. The ISS, set to be decommissioned in 2030, also captured nighttime images of Osaka, Lima, and Paris. The station previously shared nighttime views of major cities worldwide.
