An Israeli airstrike south of Beirut, Lebanon, has left three dead and 17 injured, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. Israel Army Radio and Lebanese security sources confirmed that the attack targeted Ibrahim Akil, a senior Hezbollah military commander. The strike hit a building in the Dahiyeh district, a known Hezbollah stronghold, causing significant damage, including vehicles destroyed and streets filled with debris. The Lebanese media claimed that the attack was carried out with 2 missiles from an Israeli F-35 aircraft.

The attack comes amid escalating tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, following Israel’s earlier strikes on Hezbollah missile platforms and infrastructure. In retaliation, Hezbollah launched 150 rockets into northern Israel.
