Russian forces launched airstrikes on the city of Zaporizhia in southern Ukraine, leaving 16 civilians injured, including a 15-year-old child. According to Zaporizhia Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov, the overnight attacks damaged 13 apartment buildings, an educational institution, and several vehicles and homes. Emergency teams evacuated residents from the affected areas.
In a separate incident, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia carried out drone attacks on the Sumy region, with three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) shot down by Ukrainian defenses.
