Various celebrations and ceremonies were held in Türkiye to commemorate the 486th anniversary of the Battle of Preveza. Fifteen warships belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces and TCG Anadolu, the world’s first armed UAV ship, carried out an official parade through the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul.
The Preveza Naval Victory is also celebrated as Turkish Naval Forces Day.
