The Israeli army carried out an airstrike on the Rufaida School in the Gaza Strip city of Deir al-Balah, where civilians were taking shelter. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 27 people were killed and 54 were injured in the attack. It was noted that most of those who lost their lives were women and children.
