The number of visitors to Amasra, Bartın, from the Astoria Grande cruise ship, which operates between Russia and Türkiye, has surpassed 68,000. The scenic port town is favored by Russian tourists for its natural beauty, historical sites, and peaceful atmosphere. The Astoria Grande, a 93-meter cruise ship, arrived in Amasra on its 56th trip from Sochi, bringing 1,031 passengers and 446 crew members. Tourists explored Amasra’s historical landmarks, such as the Çekiciler Bazaar, Kemere Bridge, and Amasra Castle, while some visited Safranbolu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surveys show Amasra and Istanbul as the most popular stops on the cruise route due to their unique charm and cultural significance.
