NATO to Boost Defense Production for Ukraine Aid

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasized NATO’s commitment to supporting Ukraine during a press conference in Brussels, highlighting plans to increase defense production capacity. He stressed that Ukraine’s victory plan was not discussed in detail at the meeting but reiterated NATO’s aim to prevent Russia from thinking that support for Ukraine would slow down.

Rutte added, “We want to boost industrial production to provide more aid, especially in defense equipment, and continue training Ukrainian forces.”

He also reaffirmed NATO’s support for Moldova’s defense capacity, especially against Russian disinformation.

Rutte clarified that NATO is not directly involved in the ongoing conflict between Israel, Gaza, and Lebanon, though the alliance remains vigilant in protecting its troops in the region.
