In a prisoner swap organized by the United Arab Emirates last night between Russia and Ukraine, 95 soldiers from each country were mutually released.
According to Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, there have been 58 prisoner swaps between the two sides since the beginning of the Ukraine-Russia war.
“Every time Ukraine frees its people from Russian captivity, we get closer to the day when everyone in Russian captivity will be free. We are doing everything we can to bring back all our fighters from Russia,” Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on social media.
