Cities around the world turned off their lights at 8:30 PM local time on Saturday for Earth Hour 2021 to draw attention on energy consumption and climate change. In London, the Houses of Parliament and London Eye went dark for annual global event.
Earth Hour which was launched by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is a global environmental movement. Every year on the last Saturday of March, at 8.30 PM in their local times, millions of people in more than 180 countries and territories switch off the lights to show support for the planet.
