The Israeli army launched an airstrike on the Lebanese city of Baalbek and its surroundings last night, striking Hezbollah command-and-control centers, infrastructure and fuel depots. The Lebanese health ministry said 19 people were killed.
Some of the locals, who were issued evacuation order in advance, migrated to the north of the country.
The attacks came as Hezbollah’s new secretary-general said the group would continue its war plan against Israel without “crying out” for a ceasefire.
