Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said yesterday that the death toll from the devastating floods in Valencia has risen to 214.
The Spanish minister said the government was sending 5,000 more army troops to assist the searching and clean-up efforts and that 2,500 soldiers had previously been deployed.
It is considered that the floods are the most deadly disaster in Spain’s history.
