Anonymous Lebanese security officials told British news agency Reuters that Hezbollah’s media relations chief Mohammed Afif was killed in a building in the Ras al-Naba’a neighborhood after an Israeli military attack on the Lebanese capital Beirut.
Locals said that the Israeli army had not issued any evacuation warnings before the attack.
Israel had previously killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Nasrallah’s successor Hashim Safiyuddin, and several commanders.
