Russian forces conducted overnight attacks on southern Ukraine, hitting energy infrastructure in Mykolaiv and industrial facilities in Zaporizhia.
Mykolaiv Governor Vitaliy Kim confirmed that most power outages were resolved by morning and stated, “Air defense shot down two UAVs over the region.” No casualties were reported in Mykolaiv.
In Zaporizhia, Governor Ivan Fedorov reported multiple drone strikes that injured a child and damaged industrial facilities and a residential block. Local authorities noted no significant casualties despite the attacks.
