Mexican forces carried out a drug operation against two homes in the state of Sinaloa following US President-elect Donald Trump’s threat of imposing a 25 percent tariff if the flow of immigrants and drugs is not stopped. Approximately 300 kilograms of fentanyl were seized in one home and approximately 800 kilograms of narcotic pills in the other home.
Mexican Security Minister Omar Garca Harfuch said the operation was the largest fentanyl operation to date in Sinaloa.
