A fairy chimney in the world-famous Cappadocia region of Nevşehir province of Türkiye collapsed, making loud noises and scattering around as giant rock pieces in the middle of the night. Authorities say that the chimney was probably too weakened due to recent snowfall.
There have been previous collapse incidents in historical fairy chimneys at various points in the region.
