In Manbij, Syria, 304 mines planted by the PKK/YPG terrorist organization were discovered in an olive grove, reportedly intended to target civilians harvesting olives. The area, previously controlled by the group, is now being cleared following its liberation.
Local resident Ali Aciyl, whose grove was mined, stated, “We found 304 mines in the field I couldn’t visit for four years. These mines could have killed children. The terrorists are gone, but they left bombs behind to harm us. I leave them to Allah.” Efforts continue to safely remove and destroy the mines.
