A residential building with 32 apartments collapsed in an airstrike by Russian forces in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih. One person was killed and 14 people were injured in the attack. Officials continue search efforts for people trapped under the debris.
“While other countries in the world are celebrating Christmas, Ukrainians continue to suffer from endless Russian attacks,” Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said.
The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia carried out attacks with 60 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) throughout the country overnight and that the drones were shot down in eight regions.
