The bushfire that grew out of control in the Grampians National Park in the Australian state of Victoria, where forest fires have been continuing for more than a week, burned more than a third of the national park, turning 70,000 hectares to ashes so far. People living nearby have been warned to be careful and some towns have been ordered to evacuate.
More than 100 firefighters from Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian capital region have been dispatched to the state of Victoria to support the fire response. No deaths, injuries or property damage have been reported so far.
