Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan outlined conditions to avoid a military operation in Syria, emphasizing the removal of foreign terrorist fighters and the PKK leadership from the region. Speaking on CNN Türk, Fidan stated, “If you do not want a military operation, the PKK administration must leave, and non-PKK Syrian Kurds must return to normal life without harm.”
He stressed the need for concrete action and guarantees for stability. Fidan reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to transparency, adding, “This farce of terror governance must end.”
