A thief who had been wanted since he broke into a shopping mall in the Kalbir district of Adana, Türkiye, through the ventilation system on the night of February 2nd and stole 3 kilograms of gold and 100,000 Turkish liras from a jeweler was found to have been waiting in the ventilation shaft of the shopping mall for 3 days.

It was reported that the thief was caught and detained by security forces who had blockaded the mall after he attempted to leave the mall after his long wait.

Police said that they searched the ventilation shaft with a sensitive-nosed cadaver dog throughout the previous day but could not find anybody.
