A GOL Airlines Boeing 737 MAX type passenger plane crashed into a vehicle while advancing on the runway at Galeao International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, en route to Fortaleza, Brazil, causing panic and damage to the plane.

Following the crash, the pilot reportedly told the passengers that they had collided with a pickup truck or other service vehicle belonging to the airport administration.

It was stated that the flight was cancelled and the passengers, who didn’t suffer any injuries, were removed from the plane.

An investigation was launched into the cause of the accident.
