A unique view formed as the Arpet Waterfall in Güzeldere Valley, approximately 15 kilometers from the Tatvan district center of Bitlis province in Türkiye, froze due to the weather temperature dropping to -20 degrees at night.

“We were going from Tatvan to Hizan with our friends. There were beautiful views after the snowfall. We came across the Arpet Waterfall on the Tatvan-Hizan road. The frozen waterfall took on a magnificent appearance due to the extreme cold. We photographed these beautiful images. Arpet Waterfall, which is 80 percent frozen after the snowfall, has truly created a natural wonder,” said Özkan Olcay, President of the Ahlat Photographers Association.

Inverted tulips, also known as “Crying Bride” flowers, are in bloom in the mountainous areas of Sason district in Batman, Türkiye. Found at altitudes over 2,800 meters, especially around Mount Mereto and Şilek Plateau, these rare endemic flowers attract nature enthusiasts despite the tough terrain.

Locals warn that picking the protected plant carries a fine of 244,000 TL. The flowers bloom for only 15 days each year, offering a short-lived but stunning natural display.
