US President Donald Trump confirmed that his country was talking to Hamas to release the hostages during a signing ceremony in the Oval Office in Washington, DC.
“We are talking about Israeli hostages. We are not doing anything about Hamas. I see this as helping Israel,” said the US President.
Stating that the Joe Biden administration had failed to bring the hostages back, Trump reminded that the hostages had begun to be released with his own administration and emphasized that the US had not paid any price to bring the hostages back.
