Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made statements regarding the US’s unconditional ceasefire proposal with Russia in a video recording he shared on social media yesterday.
“Today was a day full of diplomacy and negotiations that could bring us closer to peace. Now on the table is the US’s unconditional ceasefire proposal in the sky, at sea and on the front. With Ukraine’s acceptance of this proposal, we can start moving quickly towards guaranteed security, the end of this war and a reliable peace,” the Ukrainian leader said.
Thanking the parties that support Ukraine to establish peace, Zelensky emphasized the importance of pressuring Russia to be constructive and ending its “manipulations.”
