Police in Mersin, Türkiye, dismantled a three-person counterfeiting ring that produced and attempted to circulate fake US dollars worth approximately 300 million liras. Authorities seized 7.09 million counterfeit dollars, along with printing equipment, in an operation targeting the suspects. One courier was caught with 132,000 fake dollars and printing templates at a bus station. The suspects, who ran a printing press and distributed the counterfeit money, were arrested following a court hearing.
