Haiti was shaken after assassination attempt to Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry on January 1. A new footage appears to show the moments of assassination attempt that Haiti PM Henry escape uninjured but one person died unfortunately. According to the footage, shots were fired as PM Henry exited the church in the Gonaives city of Haiti, where he arrived as part of Independence Day, marking the 218th anniversary of national independence. The moments when the armed guards closed around Henry and ran towards the vehicles were reflected on the cameras. In the footage, it’s seen that Henry escorted away from the scene while guns continued to fire.

On the other hand, Haitian President Jovenel Moise was lost his life on July 7, 2021, as the result of an assassination by multiple gunmen at his private residence in the Haiti’s capital city Port Au Prince. Meanwhile, President Moise’s wife Martine Moise was injured in the assassination.
