China and Egypt have completed their first joint air force exercise, “Civilization Eagles 2025,” marking China’s first military deployment to Africa.

Held over 18 days, the drill included air combat, refueling, suppression of enemy defenses, and search-and-rescue operations. China’s Defense Ministry called it a “new milestone” in bilateral military cooperation. Chinese jets were filmed flying over the pyramids during the exercise.
