Hungarian PM Viktor Orban said the West’s strategy in Ukraine has failed, declaring, “We have lost this war.” He criticized EU sanctions for hurting Europe more than Russia and said the EU economy is suffering due to high energy costs and the Green Deal.

Orban warned that cutting Russian gas would destroy Hungary’s economy and called for peace, saying, “The longer the war lasts, the more lives will be lost.” He also accused Brussels of weakening national parliaments and demanded a new European strategy.
