Swiss Village Buried by Glacier Landslide

The village of Blatten in Switzerland’s Lötschental Valley was destroyed by a massive landslide caused by a glacier collapse from the Alps. Authorities confirmed that the village was evacuated on May 19 and that one person remains missing. “We have lost our village. The village is under rubble.
