Severe monsoon rains continue to batter Pakistan, with the death toll from floods rising to 87 since June 26, according to the National Disaster Management Authority. Streets were inundated, sewers overflowed, and power infrastructure was damaged. Authorities have issued high alerts in major cities, including Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, warning that rains and river overflows will continue through tomorrow.
